• 1. Know what to Study: The examination is divided in two parts, Paper-I (Teaching and Research Aptitude) and Paper-II (Major Subject). One must know what the syllabus is and which topics are to be covered. The students must follow good study material which is easily available online and is physically present in various good books. Because hard work only pays off if it is done smartly.
• 2. Manage your Time: It shouldn’t be a forced study scenario. This examination requires full attention and concentration of students. It is not necessary to study all the time, but do give full focus while you are going through various theories and concepts. Also, make a list of your priorities and manage your time based on that. Spend maximum time on the most important or most difficult subject and the least amount on the easier or the less significant one. Make sure you are taking appropriate amounts of breaks as longer breaks can divert your focus and the shorter breaks can cause exhaustion.
• 3. Do a Revision: Once you cover the syllabus, do thorough revisions. Prepare key notes and use them to do a quick revision before examination. Do not act overconfident and ignore this phase of your studies. It is important because as humans we tend to make errors. We also tend to miss topics or fail to understand things in the first go. Revising the same topic a number of times may help you be through with it.

• 5. Be Confident: You have done what you could have done, you can’t alter anything. The results will be favourable to you, if you are thoroughly prepared. Thus, don’t be nervous. Try to keep your anxiety level down by doing 5-10 mins of meditation in your free time, listen to good music and do tell yourself that you are prepared for it. It is important to believe in yourself. If you are not confident about your preparations that it is likely that you might let that affect your performance.
